Finding Beauty In The Beast

What happens when we stop hiding the parts of ourselves we were taught to fear? Finding Beauty in the Beast is an award winning production exploring mental health, resilience & the experience of being human. Our performers transform lived experience into something powerful, vulnerable and spectacular.

Our production received an Adelaide Fringe "Best Circus Award" and a ★★★★★ review from Mindshare.org. Since then, it has continued to evolve into a much larger vision connecting performance, mental health conversations & the South Australian community.

This isn't about pretending our struggles disappear, it's about discovering what can rise from them. 🐦‍🔥

Proceeds from our 'Phoenix Flames' cocktail were donated to Safe Pets Safe Families.

DREAMSTATE

DREAMSTATE is a psychedelic circus experience that explores the things that follow us into sleep: our desires, fears, fantasies, anxieties and the parts of ourselves that only seem to emerge when the waking world disappears. Guided by the Sandman, audiences are invited down the rabbit hole and into the strange, beautiful and sometimes unsettling world of the unconscious mind.

Premiering at a Sell Out Adelaide Fringe 2026 Season at Nineteen Ten, DREAMSTATE and received ★★★★½ from See Do Eat Review, praised for its ethereal atmosphere, striking performances and cohesive artistic vision.

Tarot: Arcana

Inspired by the powerful archetypes of the Tarot deck, each performance embodies a different card & what it represents: love, power, transformation, balance, intuition or the unknown. Tarot: Arcana invited audiences to look beyond fortune telling to explore Tarot as a mirror for the human journey, transforming ancient symbolism into something visceral, emotional & alive.

Receiving a ★★★★★ review from The Adelaide Hipster, Tarot: Arcana was described as a “brilliantly curated circus with so much heart.”

Humanity VS. Technology

Humanity Vs. Technology is a futuristic production that takes audiences through the collision of two worlds human connection & digital existence.

As our lives become increasingly intertwined with the digital world, perhaps the greatest challenge isn't stopping technology from becoming more human, it's making sure we don't forget how to be human ourselves.

A portion of ticket sales from the production was donated to Safe Pets Safe Families, helping us raise $1,000 in support of their work assisting people and their pets.

Rising Phoenix Productions was built around the idea that entertainment and meaning do not have to exist separately. Our work explores real stories, human experiences and conversations that deserve space on stage, while never forgetting that audiences came to be entertained.

MEET THE PRODUCER

Fawn Phoenix | Founder, Producer, Creative Director

Fawn Phoenix is an international performance artist, producer and founder of Rising Phoenix Productions, with a career spanning thousands of performances across Australia and internationally.

With deep roots in the adult entertainment industry, Fawn understands what it means to work within an art form that is often misunderstood or stigmatised. This experience has shaped her passion for challenging judgement, giving a platform to stories that aren't always heard and creating spaces where performers are treated with respect.

Alongside her creative career, Fawn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, bringing an understanding of people, wellbeing and community into the way she approaches production. Her work explores meaningful and sometimes vulnerable subjects while creating supportive environments where artists feel safe, heard and empowered to bring their individuality to the stage.

Fawn also believes the impact of performance should extend beyond the stage. Through fundraising, community collaborations and partnerships with local organisations, giving back has become an important part of the Rising Phoenix vision.
